One of my all-time favorite artists is Bryan Ferry, former lead singer for British band Roxy Music. This has always been my favorite Bryan Ferry song, “Slave to Love.” It’s from the album Boys and Girls, which peaked at #1 in the U.K.; and the single itself peaked at #5.

I’ve loved music since I was two years old.
Music takes me to a deeper place inside myself where I can ease my emotional pain through connecting with God in difficult times and learn to rejoice in life again. I love the 1980s and Bryan Ferry is my favorite artist. Duran Duran, ABC, Thompson Twins, Swing Out Sister, The Cure, Madonna, Simple Minds, Prince, Human League, etc. etc. Anything 1980s is at the top of my list. But I also enjoy modern synth groups like Cut/Copy, The Knocks and Holy Ghost!
I also love Smooth Jazz and old Swing music from the 1930s-1940s. Occasionally, I get in a groove for Classical, especially Mozart, and I love Soul/R&B/Disco. So this page will vary greatly in the music I share. I hope you enjoy it. Good music cuts across all generations. Although there’s no doubt in my mind that the 1980s was the most innovative and exciting decade in music history!
